Apply to be an Artist at Chalkfest Maple Grove!
- We welcome all applications and look forward to hearing from you.
- Due date for application: February 1, 2026.
- Professional artists must be at least 21 years of age to apply.
- All artists must be able to commit to the full two-day event on June 13 and 14, 2026.
- Artist working hours (but not limited to) are 10am-6pm each day.
- Artwork must be appropriate for all viewers – family friendly.
- No nudity or political statements will be accepted
- Artwork will contain no words or symbols intended as advertising or promotion.
- Artwork may not violate any copyright laws.
- No writing of anything is allowed outside your square. The festival will provide and install an information poster stating your name, home state/country and sponsor name.
- The entire artist space must be utilized, there should be no pavement showing in your square except where it is a part of the artwork
- Artist must complete their assigned square by closing of the festival on Sunday, June 14, 2026.
- Only non-toxic soft pastels may be used. Use of any other material is forbidden (i.e. oil pastels, acrylic, gouache, markers, etc.)
- Artist's must submit a sketch of what you would like to create during the Chalkfest prior to May 15, 2026.
What You Need to Know
Chalkfest Maple Grove will return to its original location on downtown Main Street in Maple Grove, MN, between Elm Creek Boulevard and one block north of Arbor Lakes Parkway on June 13 & 14, 2026 from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. The artists will be chalking and the public is welcome to view the art as it is being created.

- Dogs are not allowed at Chalkfest Maple Grove due to previous safety concerns. ADA service animals will be allowed with required documentation. Dogs will only be allowed on-site on the Public Viewing Day Monday, June 15th.
- Gratuities Accepted: Please feel free to support the artists with tips and donations during the festival. Each artist square will have a tip jar and/or QR code for you to show appreciation for their work, and all donations go directly to the artist.
Located north of the intersection of Hwy 94 and Hwy 494 and Hemlock Lane. Just 15 miles Northwest of Minneapolis. Chalkfest Maple Grove can be located downtown Main Street, north of Elm Creek Boulevard to one block north of Arbor Lakes Parkway.
